Our Story
Padel X Curaçao was born from the shared passion of Michael-John Every and Rick Hooft van Huijsduijnen, who fell in love with padel and envisioned creating a club that celebrated all popular racquet sports. Their dream was to establish more than just a sports club; they aimed to create a welcoming family destination where everyone, from kids to adults, could enjoy top-quality facilities and a vibrant community atmosphere. They were soon joined by Joey Steenbergen, a dedicated partner who brought additional enthusiasm and support to the team. Joey's involvement has been instrumental in bringing the vision of Padel X Curaçao to life, ensuring that the club offers a first-class experience for all its members and visitors. Together, they came up with the idea of Padel X Curaçao, a place that combines great sports, delicious food, and a lively atmosphere for all ages. Along the way, Dimitri who shared their vision, joined forces with them.

Meet The Team
Co-Owner & Coach
Michael-John Every
Michael-John started playing tennis at an early age and quickly showed exceptional talent. His dedication to the sport led him to play full-time for two years, during which he gained a few ATP points. About two years ago, he discovered padel and instantly fell in love with the game. Eager to deepen his expertise, he went to Malaga in Spain And Orlando in Florida to earn his coaching certificates. Michael-John's rich background in tennis and his passion for padel make him an invaluable coach at Padel X Curaçao.

Rick Hooft van Huijsduijnen
Rick started playing football and tennis at a young age and later caught the padel bug in Holland. After frequent visits to Curaçao, he helped bring the padel virus to the island, sharing his passion and enthusiasm for the sport. Together, Michael-John, Dimitri, Joey and Rick came up with the idea of Padel X, a place that combines great sports, delicious food, and a lively atmosphere for all ages.

Joey Steenbergen is a lifelong racquet sport enthusiast with professional experience in building and construction. Joey's expertise has been invaluable in developing the club's infrastructure, ensuring that Padel X offers top-notch facilities for all members and visitors. His dedication and skills have been instrumental in bringing the vision of Padel X Curaçao to life.

Yarden Lionarons
Yarden started playing tennis at a young age and quickly developed a passion for the sport. In 2022, he discovered padel and fell in love with it. Now, Yarden enjoys playing in tournaments and shares his expertise by teaching both padel and tennis to players of all levels. His enthusiasm for the game and dedication to coaching make him a valuable member of the Padel X team.
